RESEARCH

IN SEARCH OF DISCOVERY

Local, national, and international researchers will fi nd support from PODS for
their studies of marine and freshwater ecosystems in our region, in particular

research focused on ecological responses to climate change, anthropogenic

effects on biodiversity, and strategies to preserve ecosystems and species at
risk. PODS will also seek dialogue and research collaborations with academic

institutions throughout the Pacifi c Northwest and beyond.
